Our commitments

Four commitments govern how every Vegalab Beauty Science product is made, released and followed after sale. Each one is tied to a record that can be produced on request, and each is reviewed on the same schedule as the claims that rest on it.

1. Every carton traced

Every carton carries its expiry date and lot number. The lot number links the carton in your hands to the record of how it was made and released.

2. Every lot recorded

Each lot has a batch record: the raw material lots used, the quantities, the fill, the packaging components and the release decision. The batch record is where the finished pH of each formula is recorded. How preservation and microbial quality are assessed is explained on the testing program.

3. Every component prepared

The vials and stoppers are sterilized before filling. Each ampoule is filled and sealed immediately under a butyl stopper and a 20 mm aluminum crimp with a flip-off cap. The serum is a preserved cosmetic formulation.

Manufactured in conformity with ISO 22716 cosmetic GMP guidelines. What that standard covers, and the declaration that attests to it, are set out on manufacturing and GMP.

4. Every complaint answered, every lot recallable

Complaints. Every complaint and every reported reaction is logged against its lot, reviewed, and answered. A report of a reaction goes through report a reaction. Serious adverse events involving a product sold in the United States are reported to FDA within 15 business days of receipt, as MoCRA requires.

Trends. Complaints are reviewed by lot and by formula. More than one report against a single lot opens an investigation of that lot's batch record and retained samples.

Recall readiness. Every lot can be traced from its raw materials to the accounts that received it. If a lot must be withdrawn, the lot number on the carton is what identifies it, and the notice is published on this site and sent to every professional account that received it.

How this charter is kept

The commitments above are registered claims. Each carries a review date, and on that date it stops rendering until the Vegalab Beauty Science team confirms it is still true.
