How the Rate Calculator works
The calculator turns a label dilution into the two numbers you actually need at the tank: how much concentrate to measure, and how much water to carry. Enter your area and it converts the product's registered rate into your units, metric or imperial, for the region you select.
The rates it uses are the registered ones, taken from the same catalog that drives the product pages - it does not invent a rate or interpolate between products. Where a product carries a range rather than a single figure, typically a lower preventive rate and a higher rate for established pressure, the calculator reflects that range rather than averaging it away.
Two things it cannot know: your water volume per hectare, which depends on your sprayer, nozzles and forward speed, and the condition of the block on the day. Treat the result as the starting point for a tank mix, then check it against the label before you measure anything.
