How it is formulated

Smaller droplets increase contact with the mite cuticle. The emulsion structure also slows evaporation of the volatile fraction, so the active stays on the treated surface longer than a coarse emulsion of the same oils. Use it on empty or occupied housing structures as the label directs: perches, nest boxes, cage frames, wall joints, litter and bedding surfaces, and the perimeter of coops and pens. Several essential oils, including geraniol and peppermint oil, are toxic to cats, so keep cats out of treated areas until surfaces are dry.
