In brief

Vegalab Beauty Science rests on three disciplines: encapsulation, formulation, and safety and quality. Each is governed by a published charter, and every claim is graded on a four-level evidence scale. This page is the index to all of it, and the Beauty Science home is the index to the products.

Three disciplines

Encapsulation science. NanoVeil is Vegalab's multi-layer nano-encapsulation platform. NanoVeil builds a multi-layer biopolymer shell around an active, up to 20 programmable layers, so the active is held stable until defined conditions release it. Formulation science. Choosing actives, bases and preservative systems, and publishing the full ingredient declaration for every formula. The ingredient literature is in the ingredient library.

Safety and quality science. How products are made, tested and monitored once they are in use. Manufactured in conformity with ISO 22716 cosmetic GMP guidelines.

The evidence system

Every number, comparison and performance statement on a Beauty Science page is registered under a claim ID with its evidence record. Records are graded from Level A, published literature on an ingredient, to Level D, clinical or regulatory validation. A Level A paper about an ingredient never supports a claim about a finished product.
