What to look for
- Clouds of tiny white adults disturbed from the canopy
- Scale-like nymphs on leaf undersides
- Honeydew and black sooty mould
- Virus symptoms and irregular ripening
How to manage it
- Use yellow sticky traps; quarantine new plants.
- Remove heavily infested lower leaves.
- Spray Spider Mite Control on leaf undersides; repeat every 3–5 days.
