Protect early and manage water; treat before wet periods and in known low spots.
What to look for
- Sudden wilting and plant death in patches
- Dark stem lesions at the soil line
- Firm, dark fruit rot
- Spread following water flow
How to manage it
- Maximise airflow; avoid leaf wetness; never work wet plants.
- Remove infected plants immediately.
- Apply Spore Control (1:1,000) ahead of and during cool, wet weather.
