Water, Glycereth-26, Alcohol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Polyglyceryl-4 Caprate, Salicylic Acid, Tromethamine, Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide, Magnesium Chloride, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil.
How the formula is built
Salicylic acid. A beta hydroxy acid that is soluble in oil, so it mixes with the oils on the skin surface and loosens the dead cells that collect around pores. At the level used here it works as a cosmetic exfoliant. The research is on the salicylic acid page.
Botanicals. The formula contains Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil and Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract. The research on tea tree is on the tea tree oil page, and on plant extracts as a class on botanical extracts. The studies there describe the ingredients themselves.
Alcohol. Alcohol is the third ingredient. It holds the salicylic acid and the botanicals in solution. Glycereth-26, the second ingredient, is a humectant.
