Declared allergens. Scalp Repair NanoSerum declares two fragrance allergens: Citronellol and Limonene. They sit at the end of the declaration. How the formula is built
Alcohol. Alcohol is the second ingredient. On a scalp product it holds the oils and extracts in solution. Anyone who finds alcohol drying on the scalp should know it is there.
Menthol. Menthol gives a cooling sensation on application. The sensation is the whole of what it is there for.
Conditioning ingredients. Panthenol, glycerin and butylene glycol condition the scalp surface and help hold moisture. Arginine is an amino acid. Salicylic acid, low in the declaration, is a mild exfoliant. See panthenol and salicylic acid.
Botanicals. Malt, truffle, soybean seed, hizikia, wild cherry and nigella seed extracts, with bergamot and geranium oils. The research on plant extracts as a class is on botanical extracts. The studies on those pages describe the ingredients themselves.
