An amendment does not control a pest or feed the crop in the way a fertilizer does. It changes a condition - how a spray behaves on the leaf, how the plant handles stress, how a tissue is built - so that everything else in the program works closer to its potential.
The Vegalab amendments address structure and stress rather than nutrition alone. Armour Boost supplies soluble silica in a plant-available form, which is deposited in the cell walls of leaves and stems and stiffens tissue against lodging, frost and surface penetration. Rigid Boost targets structural strength directly. Sun Boost is a photosynthesis enhancer, aimed at the light-capture end of the same problem.
These products build up rather than act on contact, so repeated applications across a growth phase beat a single late one. Build the structure before the crop faces peak load, weather exposure or pest pressure - after lodging has started there is nothing left to reinforce.
