Biocontrol agents work through living or biologically derived activity rather than a synthetic single-site mode of action. That difference is what makes them useful in rotation: there is no single biochemical target for a pest population to adapt around, so they can be alternated with conventional chemistry to slow resistance rather than adding to the pressure on it.
The Vegalab biological range is built around larval control in standing water and in the crop. Mosquito BioControl and Larva BioControl are biological larvicides aimed at the larval stage, which is where a population is concentrated, accessible and not yet dispersed - the point in the life cycle where intervention costs least and achieves most.
Biologicals reward timing and monitoring more than curative chemistry does. They act on a specific life stage, so knowing when that stage is present is the difference between a program that works and one that misses. Scout, treat the stage the product targets, and keep the interval tight enough that a second generation does not establish between applications.
