How to Correct Micronutrient Deficiencies

Iron, manganese, and zinc deficiencies yellow and distort new growth, especially where high pH locks them up.

Why it matters

Trace-element shortfalls cut chlorophyll, enzyme function, and growth; since the cause is often availability, supplying chelated forms and fixing pH corrects it.

When it appears

On high-pH/alkaline/waterlogged soils.

How to identify it

  • Interveinal yellowing on the youngest leaves (iron/manganese)
  • Small leaves and short bunched shoots (zinc)
  • Common on high-pH/alkaline soils

How to manage it

  1. Address pH and drainage.
  2. Correct with Micro Boost (foliar for speed); free lock-up with Balance Boost.
